Hoover/Candy.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND AT ALL COSTS.
The drum on my Washing machine broke 4 weeks ago, (machine itself is less than 12 months old). Took 2 weeks for an engineer to come out, was here 10 mins and said “sorry mate, I can’t fix this I haven’t got the part, I’ll rebook you in for another engineer to come and fix it”. 1 week later I received the confirmation text with the repair slot, which was a further week away. Then, on the morning of the repair, at 0930, an hour before the engineer turned up I received a phone call saying as he was based in Manchester, he wouldn’t travel the 25 mins to come and fix it so I’d have to call to rebook another engineer. Rang hoover, 45 mins on the phone to be told that it was a planning issue and they would contact that dept. and call me back within 2 hours. FFWD 6 hours still no phone call, rang them again, (another 50 mins trying to get through) same story, but, as it was 1600 on a Friday, and they weren’t sure if planning were in at the weekend, it probably wouldn’t be resolved today. !! This is the condensed version of events !!
So, Still no engineer, still no re booked appointment loss of a days pay for staying at home and still no washing machine after 4 weeks.
Stay away from this company, as the right hand doesn’t even know if it has a left hand, let alone what it’s doing !!!

Hf300 hands free

Hf300 hands free hover. Malfunctioning after less than 8 months. Ridiculously long wait on the phone to service department, then the person was rude, dismissive and unhelpful. When I asked to speak to someone else he hung up on me. Buy a dyson or shark instead rather than a cheap poor quality imitation.

Hoover useless addressing problems

Hoover useless addressing problems. Had a problem with grill pan & handle not fitting. Sent messages & emails to them on numerous occasions since the beginning of Feb when I bought my oven. I still haven't been able to use my grill because it's too dangerous, the handle & grill pan fall apart so will burn when used. I would give a zero rating if I could. Hoover are happy to take my money but not happy addressing problems. Hoover can't even be bothered to reply to their last email address they gave me, trustpilot at hoovercandy

Absolutely awful customer service NEVER…

Absolutely awful customer service NEVER buy from this useless company..repair service is non existent. They outsource to morons..beyond useless

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service . Waiting an hour on hold then 25 min then 27 min and again 45 min . Got through twice to speak to someone then I get cut off twice . No call back . Shocking service .

If I could give a no star review, I would. I purchased a hoover one touch washer dryer in September. It broke. I have been trying to get it fixed since 24th December, it's now been two months without a functioning machine. I have wasted hours of my life trying to contact the company to get a repair or just confirmation from them that it is still broken for a refund from the vendor. Cancelled appointments, dates of engineers that haven't materialised, unending hours on hold. I will never select a Hoover product again, it's been painful.

Bought a Hoover dishwasher in July 2017…

Bought a Hoover dishwasher in July 2017 ,registered 10 year parts guarantee ,thinking I would be worry free for that long .
On 1st November 2020 it stopped working .Rang Hoover & booked for a repair man to come ,then that visit was cancelled & another one made .In between Hoover phoned to say a repair man was in the area could he come that day .No one showed up for that or the rescheduled one .A fourth booking was made & a guy showed up ,didn't have the parts on the van ,said would order .Rang up to chase the new parts ,complained about the cancelled & no shows Hoover reduced my labour charges by half .
21st December received phone call from Hoover saying one of the parts unavailable so there was nothing more they could do and the matter was closed .At this point I have to say everyone I dealt with was very polite ,but it doesn't alter the fact that the 10 year parts guarantee was not upheld and obviously not worth anything .Very dissatisfied with Hoover ,and when I can buy another dishwasher it will definitely NOT be a Hoover /Candy .

After reading the reviews i thought…

After reading the reviews i thought nows a good time to jump on the band wagon and say i purchased
A Dynamic washer dryer in June.
Its now January and the dryers not working.Not sure wether to call them to send someone to fix it or just cut my loses. I have read the reviews and I never thought it was possible to hear so much bad customer feed back.
Will call them in the morning and will see how it goes.
Nows also a good time to mention the fact that my previous washer dryer lasted 10 solid Years i kid u not.
Even in its last days before replacing it the washer dryer was still going strong.

Appalling company

Appalling company, my oven has been faulty since October and still not resolved. An engineer from Hoover looked at it, was baffled, I called an electrician, which I had to pay for, he advised that it was a faulty oven. I have contacted the company, via resolver on numerous occasions to no avail. The oven is getting worse, I cannot get through to customer services. Please get this contraption out of my house and give me my money back. I will never buy a product from Hoover again. Diabolical!

Poor quality product and terrible customer service

Appalling company to deal with. Bought an expensive washer a couple of years ago - it sprung a leak the first week and ended up taking out the extended warranty which has been used several times since. It's currently broken again and been waiting on a part for over two weeks and counting. Call centre is clearly undermanned as always long waits - tells you to use an email address that then rejects your email as it doesn't accept incoming emails or is overwhelmed. Seems this company is trading off a name and reputation it no longer deserves - will never buy another Hoover product again!

purchased 2 tumble dryers one house is…

purchased 2 tumble dryers one house is rented out, the candy gsvc9tg model condensing tumble dryer it’s rubbish, one overheats clothes were very very hot (scary) after drying, and the other decided not to go after 3 weeks flashing e21 we did all that your suppose to do when e21 shows but still no good and mainly the build of it is tacky cheep i made a mistake going for the cheapest that’s for sure.
currys exchanged one we got a becko 100 pound more but it’s very good atm
i’m on the phone again right now, about the other one again, been waiting for 44 mins up to now ???? good job we get free call mins now days..
